Romania can be visited the entire year. But, in Romania, like in the most Central - Eastern european countries, the touristic season begins in may and ends in late september.

The months of july and august concentrate the peek of demands, as the flux of romanian and foreign tourists increases.

Each season has its beauty.

The spring which in the southern regions of the country can be felt from the last days of february, is the season when the entire nature is born once again. The fields works start again as the migrating birds return on our lands  from the hotter countries, especially from the Nile Delta where they stay through the winter.

By their proportions, accesibility, originality and beautiful landscapes, as well as with their richness in mineral waters and multiple winter sports possibilities, the Carpathians are one of the most important and complex touristic areas of Romania. This is where you can fins the renowned mountain resorts: Poiana Brasov, Sinaia, Predeal as well as Borsa, Stana de vale, Paltinis, durau, Semenic, Muntele Mic, Balea.

All these resorts are gifted with modern hotels, villas and restaurants. The large number of possibilities tourists can choose from to spend their time, the numerous ski tracks, ski lifts for the practice of winter sports are true attractions for the visitors. 

The Carpathians form a large arch, split in three components - the Orientals, Meridionals and Occidentals Carpathians - each of them longer than 400 km and wide of about 80-150 km.

They concentrate a large number of touristic objectives, placed especially in the valleys.The valleys and gorges like: Vaea Prahovei, Valea Oltului, Valea Ialomitei, Valea Buzaului are important touristic regions.

In the winter, the Carpathians are access ways towards the winter sports resorts like Sinaia, Predeal, Busteni, Poiana Brasov, Semenic, Voineasa, Balea.

Ukraine in the north and East, the republic of Moldavia in the East, Bulgaria in the south and Serbia in the south-west.
